Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is set to pay a state visit to Kazakhstan on October 20-21, at the invitation of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
During the visit, the two presidents will hold high-level bilateral talks aimed at reinforcing strategic cooperation between their countries, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.
They will also participate in a session of the Supreme Interstate Council, an important forum for enhancing political and economic collaboration within the region.
In addition to official meetings, President Aliyev and President Tokayev will attend the Kazakh-Azerbaijani Business Forum, which seeks to boost trade and investment ties and foster closer economic relations.
This visit comes shortly after President Tokayev’s recent trip to Azerbaijan, where he took part in the 12th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic-Speaking States, highlighting the continued partnership and shared goals between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan on the regional stage.
