China’s Longhao Cargo Airline to Launch Flights Through Kazakhstan's Astana

Chinese cargo airline China Central Longhao is preparing to launch flights through Astana International Airport in September, strengthening Kazakhstan’s role as a key transit point between China, Central Asia and global markets.

The carrier plans to operate Boeing 747-400F freighter aircraft with a scheduled frequency of four flights per week, according to Qazinform.

Representatives of China Central Longhao recently met with Astana International Airport officials to discuss cooperation under the cargo tech-stop program and opportunities to expand freight operations through the Kazakh capital.

The new service is expected to expand Astana’s cargo network and provide additional connectivity for shipments moving between China, Central Asia and other international destinations.
