Fire crews arriving at the scene found container-type retail boutiques ablaze, with the blaze threatening to spread to neighboring stalls, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

“Thanks to the coordinated efforts of firefighters, the fire was prevented from spreading and extinguished quickly, covering an area of 500 square meters,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
