Energy Minister: Kazakhstan's Oil Output Soars 13% in 2025

Kazakh Energy Minister Yerlan Akkenzhenov has said that Kazakhstan’s oil and condensate production surged to 75.7 million tons from January to September 2025, up 13.2 per cent compared to the same period last year.

Akkenzhenov made these remarks at a government meeting, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

He reaffirmed the national 2025 production target of 96.2 million tons. On the export front, the country shipped 60.5 million tons of oil in the first three quarters-a 14.9 per cent increase year-on-year-out of a planned 70.5 million tons for the full year.

By comparison, in 2024 Kazakhstan’s total oil output was 87.7 million tons.
