Fiery Three-Car Collision Leaves Five Dead on Kazakhstan's Highway

A devastating traffic accident in Kazakhstan’s Akmola Region has claimed the lives of five people after three vehicles collided on the Astana-Korgalzhyn highway.

The tragic crash occurred on June 21 and involved a Kia, a Toyota Fortuner, and a Toyota Land Cruiser. The impact was so severe that both Toyota SUVs burst into flames moments after the collision, The Caspian Post reports via Zakon.kz.

News of the deadly accident first spread on social media before being officially confirmed by regional law enforcement agencies.

Police said a pre-trial investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the crash and establish all circumstances surrounding the incident.
