A giant kazyburger weighing 86.4 kilograms has earned a place in Kazakhstan’s record books after being unveiled at the Balkhash Tour Fest in the Karaganda Region.
The impressive culinary creation became one of the main attractions of the festival, which is taking place on the shores of Lake Balkhash and drawing thousands of visitors from across the region and beyond, The Caspian Post reports via Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Prepared by local chefs, the enormous kazyburger measured 39 centimeters in height and 89 centimeters in diameter. The record-breaking burger featured a rich assortment of meats, including chicken, beef, and traditional Kazakh kazy sausage, along with tomatoes, fresh herbs, and sauce.
Festival guests watched the cooking process from start to finish before the achievement was officially certified by a representative of the Kazakhstan Book of Records.
The giant kazyburger was not only created to set a record but also to support a good cause. After the record was officially registered, the burger was divided into portions and distributed to charitable organizations in Balkhash.
The culinary spectacle added to the festive atmosphere of Balkhash Tour Fest, which attracted around 35,000 visitors on its opening day. Guests arrived from 11 countries, including Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, India, and several other nations.
