A tragic explosion at a roadside cafe in the Moiynty station, Shet district, Kazakhstan has killed two people and hospitalized 11.
Preliminary investigations suggest the blast was caused by serious violations in the operation of household gas equipment, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
The explosion destroyed part of the single-story building, collapsing the floor and igniting a fire that burned 300 square meters, which has been fully extinguished.
Rescue teams are removing debris, inspecting damaged structures, and taking steps to prevent re-ignition. Officials confirmed the preliminary cause is improper use of gas supply systems, including household gas cylinders.
