A total of 52 people were hospitalized after a natural gas poisoning incident inside a train car in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Among the victims were 10 children, two of whom were admitted to intensive care. The remaining patients received treatment and were released for outpatient care, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.
Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (Kazakhstan Railways) also commented on the incident, clarifying that the train cars were provided to a film studio for shooting and belonged to a private carrier. According to the company, the poisoning was caused by carbon monoxide.
Emergency services deployed 13 medical teams to assist those affected.
