Authorities in Kazakhstan are investigating reports that citizens have been included on a restricted access list at a museum in Germany.
The situation involves a museum affiliated with Germany’s defense sector located in Koblenz. The facility has reportedly introduced entry restrictions for visitors from 26 countries, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Ukraine, China, and Tajikistan, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
German authorities reportedly link the measures to internal regulations requiring additional background checks for certain visitors.
Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry has already sent an official inquiry to Berlin and is awaiting clarification on the reasons behind the restrictions.
