Hungarian President Receives Ceremonial Welcome in Kazakhstan's Astana

President of Hungary Tamás Sulyok has been officially welcomed at the Akorda Presidential Palace after arriving in Astana on an official visit to Kazakhstan by invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

A ceremonial guard of honor greeted President Sulyok upon his arrival. The two presidents then introduced their delegation members as part of the official protocol, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Following the introductions, the commander of the honor guard delivered a formal welcome address. The Kazakh Presidential Orchestra played the national anthems of both Hungary and Kazakhstan.

Presidents Tokayev and Sulyok then walked together along a blue carpet toward the National Flag of Kazakhstan, symbolizing the formal start of the state visit.

Earlier in the day, President Sulyok arrived in Astana. During his stay, he is expected to engage in bilateral discussions with President Tokayev focused on strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations, especially in economic, political, and regional cooperation.
