A public transport scandal has erupted in Temirtau, Kazakhstan, after a bus driver forcibly removed a passenger for eating inside the vehicle.
A video of the incident quickly spread on social media, showing the 43-year-old driver verbally abusing the passenger before ordering him off the bus, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
“This isn’t a dining hall… get out!” the driver shouted during the heated exchange.
Police have since filed an administrative case against the driver for offensive language, and the final decision will be made in court.
The bus company confirmed that eating is not allowed onboard, citing frequent complaints from passengers about litter. However, the driver’s aggressive behavior has triggered widespread criticism online, turning a simple rule violation into a full-blown controversy.
