Kazakh Greco-Roman wrestler Omar Satayev has claimed a hard-fought bronze medal at the 2025 U23 World Wrestling Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia.
Competing in the men’s 82 kg category, Satayev defeated Belgium’s Ibrahim Tabaev 10:8 to secure his spot on the podium, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Kazakhstan has already celebrated success at the tournament, bringing home both silver and bronze medals, highlighting the country’s growing strength in international wrestling.
