Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has issued a strong condemnation of Israel’s recent military operations in Doha, Qatar.
In his remarks, President Tokayev stressed that such actions are “unacceptable regardless of their motives,” underscoring that they constitute a violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and a breach of the principles of international law, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
“President Tokayev condemned the military action taken by the Israeli authorities in Doha, Qatar. Whatever the motives behind these actions are unacceptable, as it violates the sovereignty of the State of Qatar and contravenes the principles of international law,” the press service of the Kazakh president said.
Israel has attacked Hamas’ leadership in the Qatari capital, Doha, drawing widespread global condemnation.
Hamas says five of its members were killed in the attack, including the son of senior leader Khalil al-Hayya. A member of Qatar’s security forces was also killed.
