Kazakh Leader Receives Uzbekistan’s Highest Friendship Order from President Mirziyoyev

Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has been honored with Uzbekistan’s prestigious “Oliy Darajali Dustlik” (“Friendship of the Highest Degree”) Order.

The award was presented by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during Tokayev’s state visit to Tashkent, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Tokayev said he views the award as a sign of deep respect not only for himself but for the people of Kazakhstan, stressing the strong bond between the two nations. He highlighted that the order reflects shared values of friendship, peace, and mutual respect, adding that the Kazakh-Uzbek partnership will continue to grow through joint efforts.

Mirziyoyev praised Tokayev as an internationally recognized statesman, noting Kazakhstan’s social and economic progress under his leadership. He emphasized that the honor reflects the appreciation of Uzbekistan’s multinational population for Tokayev’s contributions.

“As close friends and neighbors, we sincerely rejoice in Kazakhstan’s success,” the Uzbek leader said.

Tokayev is currently in Tashkent on a state visit at Mirziyoyev’s invitation.
