Kazakh Leader Touches Down in Tajikistan for Key Diplomatic Talks

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, for a series of high-level diplomatic engagements.

Upon arrival at Dushanbe International Airport, President Tokayev was greeted by Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda, marking the start of an official visit focused on regional cooperation, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.

Today, the Kazakh leader is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan. He will also take part in the Central Asia-Russia Summit, a key platform for dialogue and collaboration among regional powers on pressing political, economic, and security issues.

On October 10, President Tokayev is expected to participate in the meeting of the CIS Heads of State Council, reaffirming Kazakhstan’s active role in fostering multilateral ties and advancing regional integration across the post-Soviet space.
