Kazakh Leader, VTB Chief Discuss Expanding Financial and Investment Ties

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has met with Andrey Kostin, President and Chairman of the VTB Bank Management Board and head of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, to discuss expanding cooperation in the financial, banking, and investment sectors.

During the meeting, both sides underscored the importance of enhancing strategic partnerships across key areas of the economy, with a focus on fostering long-term, mutually beneficial collaboration, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Earlier the same day, President Tokayev also held talks with Majilis Chairman Yerlan Koshanov to assess the current activities of Kazakhstan’s lower house of parliament and discuss its legislative priorities.
