Kazakh People Rate 2025 Positively Amid Global Challenges

A nationwide survey conducted by the National Analytical Center shows that most Kazakh people view 2025 as a year of stability, personal achievements, and progress.

The survey, involving 1,000 respondents from all regions, found that positive assessments outweighed negative ones by 3.5 times, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

While 11 per cent described the year as unsuccessful, 37 per cent called it successful, and 52 per cent rated it as an ordinary year.

Highlights shaping public sentiment in 2025 included:

Historic sports events, like the Kairat-Real Madrid match

Concerts by global stars such as Jennifer Lopez and the Backstreet Boys

Major national anniversaries, including Abai’s 180th, Victory Day 80th, and the Constitution’s 30th

New schools, hospitals, and infrastructure improvements

Breakthroughs in AI, including projects like Alem.ai, Higgsfield AI, and a new supercomputer

International diplomacy, with presidential meetings including Donald Trump and Xi Jinping

The survey also shows broad confidence in Kazakhstan’s development path, with 71 per cent of respondents saying the country is moving in the right direction and 77 per cent expressing support for the president’s activities.

Overall, the results reflect public optimism and approval of Kazakhstan’s progress in 2025 across education, healthcare, technology, and infrastructure.
