Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Transport is working to expand flight networks and increase international services.
Starting December 15, Kazakh airline SCAT began operating a new route between Shymkent and Tbilisi, flying twice a week on Mondays and Fridays with Boeing 737 MAX 8 and 737-800 aircraft, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
The new service aims to boost trade, economic ties, and tourism cooperation between Kazakhstan and Georgia.
