Kazakhstan has resumed oil exports to Kyrgyzstan for the first time since 2017.
Oil supplies to Kyrgyzstan restarted in November 2025, with up to 30,000 tons expected to be delivered by the end of the year. The previous shipments to Kyrgyzstan were carried out in 2017, The Caspian Post reports via KazTransOil.
At the same time, transit of Kazakh oil to Uzbekistan is set to resume in December 2025, with volumes reaching up to 35,000 tons.
As a result, the total volume of oil transportation to Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan by the end of 2025 will amount to 65,000 tons, with up to 55,000 tons scheduled for December.
The oil is transported via the company’s main pipeline system to the Shagyr oil loading terminal, where it is transferred into railway tank cars for onward delivery.
