The next session of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Intergovernmental Council and the Digital Forum will take place in Shymkent, Kazakhstan on March 26-27, 2026.
Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, speaking at the EAEU council meeting, noted that Kazakhstan will assume the 2026 chairmanship of the EAEU bodies, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.
He emphasized that the country is fully committed to strengthening and developing the Eurasian Economic Union.
“I would like to invite you to Shymkent on March 26-27, 2026, for the annual events: the next session of the EAEU Intergovernmental Council and the now-traditional Digital Forum,” Bektenov said.
