Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has congratulated citizens on Kazakhstan’s Independence Day, calling the holiday a symbol of the nation’s conscious and decisive choice in favor of a sovereign path of development.
In his message, the president emphasized that independence remains the country’s highest value and a shared historical responsibility before past and future generations, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
He noted that unity, mutual support, creative labor, and social harmony have enabled Kazakhstan to achieve significant progress in strengthening its statehood.
Highlighting the rapidly changing global environment, President Tokayev said the new era brings both serious challenges and fresh opportunities. He stressed that as a young and progressive nation, Kazakhstan must look to the future with optimism, work together to boost competitiveness, and enhance its position on the international stage.
The president also expressed confidence that the large-scale reforms currently underway will lead to lasting success. By consistently pursuing comprehensive modernization, Kazakhstan will continue building a Just, Strong, Clean, and Safe state, the message said.
