Kazakh President Meets with Kazakh Students in US Ahead of C5+1 Summit

During his visit to Washington, D.C., President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has met with Kazakh students studying in the US.

The president encouraged his compatriots and wished them continued success in their studies, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Earlier, President Tokayev was welcomed by US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau upon his arrival in Washington, D.C. During his stay, the Kazakh president is set to hold talks with US President Donald Trump and participate in the C5+1 (Central Asia - US) summit, aimed at strengthening regional cooperation.
