Kazakh President to Visit Tajikistan for Regional Summits Soon

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is scheduled to visit Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on October 9-10.

The visit follows an official invitation from Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.

During his stay, President Tokayev will take part in the second "Central Asia-Russia" Summit, set for October 9, which will be held alongside the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Council of Heads of State Summit. Both events aim to strengthen regional cooperation and foster deeper political and economic ties among participating countries.

The summits in Dushanbe are expected to address critical issues affecting Central Asia and the broader CIS region, highlighting the importance of multilateral dialogue and collaboration.
