A gifted schoolboy from Shymkent, Kazakhstan, has received admission offers from 74 prestigious universities across 12 countries, drawing attention for his outstanding academic and scientific achievements.

Thus, 11th-grade schoolboy Dastan Rakhymanberdi studies at Specialized Boarding School No. 2 with trilingual education in Shymkent, The Caspian Post reports via Orda.kz.

Dastan scored an impressive 1480 on the SAT exam for admission to U.S. universities and achieved a 7.0 score on the IELTS English-language test - results that opened the doors to leading universities around the world.

The talented schoolboy has been actively involved in science and information technology since the fifth grade. Over the years, he has built an impressive portfolio of achievements, including victory in Kazakhstan’s national astrophysics olympiad and second place in a national financial literacy competition.

He has also earned awards at more than 15 international hackathons, including a prestigious competition organized by NASA.

Beyond academics and technology projects, Dastan is also deeply involved in volunteer work. Over the past several years, he has participated in more than 40 major volunteer initiatives, combining academic excellence with active community engagement.
