A 17-year-old pupil from Pavlodar, Kazakhstan, Aikhanum Okasova, has independently earned enough money to buy an apartment in Astana.

Aikhanum is fluent in nine languages, most of which she began learning on her own starting in sixth grade. She now works as a language tutor, teaching people around the world online, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

She honed her skills by translating texts between languages and communicating with native speakers online, building a wide network of friends and contacts across different countries.

Despite her success, Aikhanum continues her school studies while teaching online. She dreams of attending a prestigious foreign university and traveling extensively.
