Kazakhstan, Bosnia Explore Cooperation Prospects

Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Daulet Batrashev presented his credentials to Željko Komšić, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations, noting significant potential for cooperation in energy, information technology, artificial intelligence, and food security, The Caspian Post reports, citing the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.

Ambassador Batrashev briefed the Chairman on Kazakhstan’s large-scale reforms across public administration and ongoing socio-political transformations.

He emphasized Kazakhstan’s peaceful and open foreign policy, commitment to the principles of equality, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of states under the UN Charter, and the country’s consistent efforts to strengthen interstate relations and deepen cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chairman Komšić praised Kazakhstan’s reform progress and achievements, highlighting its role as a leading Eurasian economic power with strategic transit and transport potential.

He also extended warm congratulations to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the people of Kazakhstan on the occasion of the upcoming Independence Day, wishing them prosperity and well-being.
