Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has emphasized Georgia’s role as a key partner for Kazakhstan in the South Caucasus during a meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in Ashgabat.
President Tokayev emphasized that Georgia remains a reliable partner for Kazakhstan in the South Caucasus, highlighting the long-standing cooperation built on historic ties and friendship between the two nations, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
The sides confirmed the strength of political dialogue, economic collaboration, and humanitarian relations, while exploring opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation in transport, logistics, and trade sectors.
Earlier, President Tokayev participated in the forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, the International Day of Neutrality, and Turkmenistan’s 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality.
