Kazakhstan Evacuates Citizens via Azerbaijan's Land Border

The Kazakh Foreign Ministry has announced about ongoing efforts to evacuate Kazakh citizens from conflict zones in the Middle East.

Since the start of the evacuation operation, more than 7,300 Kazakh citizens have returned home with the assistance of both domestic and foreign airlines. Between March 3 and March 8 alone, 37 flights transported 6,254 people back to Kazakhstan, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

In addition to air travel, the ministry confirmed that citizens are also being evacuated via land borders with Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Turkmenistan, providing alternative routes for safe return amid escalating regional instability.

Authorities continue to coordinate with neighboring countries and airlines to ensure the safe and efficient return of citizens caught in the ongoing Middle East conflict.
