Kazakhstan Honors Memory of Azerbaijani National Leader

A memorial event has been held at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Kazakhstan to mark the Day of Remembrance for national leader Heydar Aliyev.

The ceremony began with flowers laid at Heydar Aliyev’s bust at the embassy, followed by a minute of silence honoring the statesman, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kazakhstan Aghalar Atamoglanov highlighted Heydar Aliyev’s crucial role in restoring Azerbaijan’s stability and statehood during periods of political, social, and economic crisis, including times of armed conflict.

He emphasized that Heydar Aliyev’s strategic vision aimed at liberating occupied territories, laying the foundation for modern Azerbaijan and its subsequent achievements, including the restoration of territorial integrity.
