Kazakhstan is enhancing its travel and economic ties with Türkiye by allowing Turkish nationals to enter and stay in the country visa-free for up to 90 days within each 180-day period.
These changes aim to enhance Kazakhstan’s cooperation with Türkiye, create a more attractive investment and tourism climate, and strengthen economic diplomacy, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh media.
The Kazakh government is set to revise its regulations on the entry, stay, and exit of immigrants, alongside updates to the country’s Migration Control Rules.
Under the proposed amendments, citizens of 66 countries-including Australia, the US, the UK, Germany, France, Japan, the UAE, South Korea, Canada, Italy, and others-will be allowed to enter Kazakhstan and stay visa-free for up to 30 calendar days from their date of entry.
However, the total stay must not exceed 90 days within any 180-day period.
Citizens of Iran and India will be able to enter and exit Kazakhstan visa-free only if their stay does not exceed 14 calendar days per visit, with a maximum total of 42 days within any 180-day period. Should travelers exceed these limits or have different visit purposes, obtaining a visa prior to entry will remain mandatory.
The draft amendments are currently available for public feedback on the official legalacts.egov.kz website and will remain open for consultation until July 28, 2025.
