Kazakhstan and Qatar are stepping up efforts to boost their growing economic partnership.
Kazakh Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev met with Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, Secretary General of Qatar’s Foreign Ministry, to discuss strengthening trade and investment ties, along with other key areas of bilateral cooperation, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.
A major focus of the talks was ensuring the effective implementation of major investment projects agreed upon during President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s visit to Doha last year. Both sides emphasized that these projects play a crucial role in expanding economic collaboration between the two countries.
By the end of the meeting, the two officials reaffirmed their mutual commitment to deepening cooperation and unlocking new opportunities across a range of sectors.
Earlier, Kosherbayev also met with Armenia’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Armen Ghevondyan, to review progress and future prospects in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
