Kazakh FM, Armenian Ambassador Explore New Horizons in Bilateral Relations

Kazakh Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev has met with Armenian Ambassador Armen Gevondyan to discuss the current state of bilateral relations and explore new opportunities for expanding cooperation.

The sides discussed progress in political dialogue, trade and economic ties, and cultural-humanitarian partnerships, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.

A key topic was the upcoming first official visit of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Astana. He is expected to arrive with a large delegation representing the economy, education, and culture sectors - a sign of Yerevan’s intention to deepen multifaceted cooperation.

Kosherbayev expressed confidence that the visit would become an important milestone, opening fresh avenues for joint projects in transport and logistics, digitalization and AI, education, and healthcare.

Both sides reaffirmed their strong partnership and commitment to maintaining positive momentum in bilateral trade and economic relations. They also agreed to continue active engagement through upcoming visits and joint events.

Earlier, the information went viral that Kazakh Film Days opened in Tokyo, strengthening cultural ties with Japan.
