Kazakhstan Ramps Up For Victory Day Parade

On 7 May 2025, a huge military parade will be held in Astana to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of the Great Patriotic War (World War II), The Caspian Post reports citing Scramble.

This victory day will see 4.000 soldiers and many vehicles participate. Undoubtedly the most spectacular part will be the fly-by that is to feature no less than 66 aircraft.

Nearly all aerial equipment of the Әскери Әүе Күщтері (ӘӘК) or Äskerï Äüe Küşçteri (ÄÄK) (Kazakhstan Air Force) will be on display over the city. Also, the Ministry of Emergency Situations will participate with their EC145 and H145 helicopters.

Rehearsals have already started and will peak the coming week culminating in the finale dress rehearsal and parade.
