Kazakhstan Removes Top Presidential Aide for International Affairs

Kazakhstan has officially confirmed the dismissal of Yerzhan Kazykhan from his role as Assistant to the President for International Affairs.

“By decree of the Head of State, Yerzhan Kazykhan has been relieved of his post as Assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for International Affairs,” the statement reads, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

This announcement follows earlier reports indicating that Zulfiya Suleimenova was also relieved of her duties as Presidential Advisor.
