Daniyar Sarekenov has been officially relieved of his duties as Kazakhstan’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Slovenia.
Sarekenov brings extensive diplomatic experience, having served as Advisor and Minister-Counselor at Kazakhstan’s Embassy in Japan from 2007 to 2011, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.
Between 2012 and 2013, he was Deputy Director of the Asia and Africa Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
In 2013, Sarekenov was appointed Minister-Counselor at the Kazakh Embassy in Malaysia, before being promoted to Ambassador to Malaysia, a position he held until 2019. Following this, he served as Ambassador to Indonesia from 2019 to 2023.
