Kazakhstan’s Junior Trap Shooters Capture Gold at Asian Championships

The Committee for Sports and Physical Culture of the Kazakh Ministry of Tourism and Sports has announced that Kazakhstan’s junior national trap shooting team claimed gold at the 16th Asian Shooting Championships.

In the mixed team trap final, Eleonora Ibragimova and Nikita Moiseyev edged out India in a tense contest, winning 38-37. India secured the silver medal, while Uzbekistan took bronze, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.

The victory builds on earlier achievements for the Kazakh pair, who had already earned silver medals in the men’s and women’s team events.

As previously reported, Kazakhstan’s shooters have set a new record at the 16th Asian Championships, underscoring the team’s remarkable performance on home soil.
