Kazakhstan's Kostanay Raises Agricultural Funding 1.2 Times

Governor of Kazakhstan's Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov has said that Kostanay region allocated 207 billion tenge ($402.825 million) in 2025 to support its agro-industrial complex, 1.2 times more than last year.

The governor noted the region’s gross regional product reached 924 billion tenge ($1.798 billion) over the past 11 months and is expected to exceed 1 trillion tenge ($1.946 billion) by year-end, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Kostanay collected 7 million tons of grain and commissioned seven modern digital dairy farms, with five more planned for 2026. These projects are expected to double milk production at large farms.

In addition, Bayan Sulu company is building the Konditerskaya Astana factory with an investment of 14.3 billion tenge ($27.828 million), aiming to expand its product range by 16,600 tons.

Earlier, Kyzylorda Governor Nurlybek Nalibayev highlighted the implementation of major investment projects and business support measures in his region.
