Kazakhstan’s QazTrade, Azerbaijan’s AzExport to Sign Cooperation Memorandum

Executive Director of Kazakhstan’s "QazTrade" Center for Trade Policy Development Ainur Amirbekova has announced that QazTrade and Azerbaijan’s AzExport are set to sign a memorandum of cooperation to boost collaboration in trade promotion and digital platforms.

Amirbekova made these remarks at the Eurasian Franchising Forum in Baku, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

She said both organizations have already held preliminary talks and are actively working on joint initiatives.

“We have a new vision for jointly promoting our digital tools. In this context, we will sign a memorandum and continue our collaboration. AzExport has an effective marketplace platform showcasing national products and brands, while QazTrade is developing a similar platform. Our goal is to work together and eventually enter external markets,” she explained.

She also highlighted discussions at the forum on promoting the Turan brand, which represents products from Turkic countries.

“I believe we can apply our tools practically in this area as well,” Amirbekova added.

The memorandum is expected to strengthen trade relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan and enhance the global visibility of their national brands.
