Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia’s Hail Province are stepping up efforts to build a stronger partnership in agriculture, investment, and regional development, opening new opportunities for businesses on both sides.

During an official visit to Hail, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Madiyar Menilbekov held a series of meetings with senior regional officials and business leaders to explore new avenues for economic cooperation, The Caspian Post reports via Kazinform.

Talks with Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud focused on expanding interregional ties and accelerating joint investment and agricultural projects. Both sides praised the strong political and economic relationship between Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia and expressed interest in turning that momentum into practical business initiatives.

The visit also highlighted opportunities beyond agriculture. In discussions with Omar bin Abdullah Al-Abduljabbar, the parties reviewed Hail’s infrastructure and urban development plans, exchanging expertise in logistics, mining, smart city technologies, and tourism development.

Business cooperation was another key focus. During a meeting with Ali bin Bandar Alsdairi, officials explored ways to boost bilateral trade, organize investment forums and business-to-business (B2B) meetings, and expand agricultural exports and imports between the two countries.

The talks concluded with agreements to establish working-level contacts aimed at advancing investment partnerships and agro-industrial cooperation, signaling a new phase in Kazakhstan-Saudi economic relations.

The visit follows recent high-level discussions between Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev and Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef, underscoring the growing strategic partnership between the two nations.
