Kazakhstan Sees Leadership Change at Presidential Administration

Kazakh Leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a decree relieving Aibek Dadebay of his duties as Head of the Presidential Administration.

The decision was made due to his transition to another appointment, The Caspian Post reports via Kazinform.

Dadebay, a graduate of the Abylaikhan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages, has held several senior positions throughout his career in public service.

He previously worked at the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament, Kazakhstan’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations Office in Geneva, and within the Presidential Administration.

In January 2022, he was appointed Head of the Department of Presidential Affairs. He later became Head of the Presidential Administration in 2024.
