During a working visit to Moscow, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Industry and Construction Yersayin Nagaspayev has met with Russia’s Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov to discuss promising areas of trade and economic cooperation, focusing on expanding industrial partnerships and technological collaboration between the two countries.
Particular attention was given to major joint industrial projects in key sectors such as the automotive industry, railway engineering, metallurgy, chemicals, and construction materials, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Kazakhstan and Russia are implementing 175 industrial projects worth a total of $56.6 billion, expected to create up to 64,000 new jobs.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening industrial cooperation, developing cross-border supply chains, and creating new business opportunities.
