Kazakhstan is preparing for high-level participation in the 12th Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and the 4th Ministerial Meeting of the Green Energy Advisory Council, scheduled to take place in Baku, Azerbaijan in early March.
Officials confirmed that preparations are underway for the upcoming sessions dedicated to the development of the Southern Gas Corridor and green energy corridors, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
According to the Energy Ministry, Kazakhstan is expected to be represented at a high level - either by the minister of energy or a vice minister.
“At present, the Energy Ministry is conducting preparatory work for participation in the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council meeting, as well as in the ministerial session on the development of green energy corridors planned for March in Baku,” the ministry said.
Officials added that internal coordination is ongoing, including the drafting and approval of materials related to the agenda. Further details regarding the composition of the delegation and Kazakhstan’s official positions will be disclosed once domestic approval procedures are completed.
The meetings in Baku are expected to focus on strengthening regional energy cooperation and advancing sustainable energy initiatives.
