Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a law ratifying a major partnership agreement between Kazakhstan and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), marking a significant step toward sustainable economic growth.

The agreement expands cooperation not only with the IBRD, but also with key members of the World Bank Group - the International Finance Corporation and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

The framework partnership is designed to support Kazakhstan’s long-term development, attract investment, and strengthen economic resilience. The document sets the foundation for deeper collaboration across infrastructure, private sector development, and sustainability initiatives.

The law will be officially published in the press in the coming days.
