Georgia, Kazakhstan Focus on Middle Corridor Development

Georgia and Kazakhstan are strengthening ties with a new cooperation program for 2026-2027, placing a strong emphasis on trade and strategic transport routes.

The agreement was signed following talks between Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili and her Kazakh counterpart Yermek Kosherbayev, who discussed key areas of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, The Caspian Post reports via Georgian media.

A central focus of the talks was expanding trade and economic relations, as well as deepening collaboration on the development of the Middle Corridor - a key transport route connecting Asia and Europe via the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
