Khiva Set to Host Uzbekistan–Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Forum

On July 1-2, Khiva will host the inaugural Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Forum titled “In Search of New Horizons: From Dialogue to Joint Action.”

Deputies of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as representatives of the Youth Parliaments of the two countries, will attend the event, The Caspian Post reports citing UzA.

The forum aims to expand interparliamentary cooperation, exchange experience in lawmaking and parliamentary control, and assist in implementing agreements reached at the highest level.

Following the event, a final document will be adopted to strengthen the strategic partnership, expand bilateral cooperation in priority areas, and improve the legal framework to implement joint initiatives effectively.
