New Direct Flights Connect Armenia and Kazakhstan as FlyOne Enters Market

Travel between Armenia and Kazakhstan is set to become easier as Armenian carrier FlyOne Armenia launches direct flights between Yerevan and Almaty, expanding air connectivity between the two countries.

The new route officially started on June 12, 2026, with flights operating twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. The launch marks FlyOne Armenia’s entry into Kazakhstan’s aviation market and increases the total number of weekly flights between the two countries from three to five, The Caspian Post reports via Kazinform.

The additional air service is expected to strengthen trade, investment, tourism and business cooperation, while also making travel more convenient for passengers seeking direct connections between the two regional hubs.

The latest route expansion follows another recent development in regional aviation, with Kazakhstan’s SCAT Airlines launching regular direct flights between Astana and Ulaanbaatar, further boosting connectivity across Central Asia and neighboring regions.
