A strong northwestern cyclone is set to hit Kazakhstan over the next three days, bringing heavy snow, snowstorms, and strong winds.
Southern and southeastern regions are expected to see rain on December 26, while the west and south brace for high winds, snowstorms, and slippery road conditions, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Nighttime temperatures are predicted to drop sharply, plunging to -25 to -30 °C in the northwest and north, and -22 to -30 °C in the east. Severe frosts are expected to continue affecting the country, with authorities warning residents to take precautions.
