Police rescue tourists from Kazakhstan who were carried away by boat on Lake Issyk-Kul

Three citizens of Kazakhstan from Almaty went out in an inflatable boat on Lake Issyk-Kul in Jeti-Oguz district at about 12 pm on August 2, The Caspian Post informs via AkiPress.

A strong wind and waves suddenly began to blow the boat far into the lake.

A report of the incident was received by the tourist and environmental police.

Two officers began searching the lake using special equipment.

The missing tourists were found and rescued at about 3 pm. They were immediately given first medical and psychological aid. The condition of the victims is assessed as satisfactory.
