Russian President Vladimir Putin has officially accepted an invitation from Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to pay a state visit to Kazakhstan in 2026.
During talks in Moscow, Putin expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming visit, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.
“I will be happy to come,” he said in response to Tokayev’s invitation.
President Tokayev highlighted that the significance of the visit goes beyond formal protocol.
“We must sign a new generation of high-level agreements and closely monitor their implementation. This is extremely important,” he said, underlining the need for tangible outcomes from top-level cooperation.
