Emergency workers from the Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations have carried out a successful rescue after a baby camel fell into a canal and was unable to climb out on its own.
The incident took place in the village of Makhambet, where a distress call was made to emergency number 112 reporting that the animal was struggling in the Shirkeli canal, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Rescue teams arrived quickly at the scene and used ropes along with specialized equipment to carefully lift the young camel out of the water.
The operation was completed without complications, and the animal was safely brought ashore unharmed-highlighting once again the swift response and preparedness of Kazakhstan’s emergency services.
